Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Polls are open 7AM to 7PM on Election Day.
This year’s election will be conducted the same as other recent elections in Colorado. All registered voters will receive a ballot by mail (so long as your information is up to date with the county clerk), and voters may return the ballot by mail OR in person at a secure drop-off box or Voter Service & Polling Center (VSPC) anywhere in Arapahoe County. Ballots were mailed to voters beginning on October 9. As another option, voters may vote in person at any VSPC in the county, up to 7PM on November 3.
It is recommended to return your ballot in person this year if possible. Regardless how you return your ballot, ballots must be received by 7PM on November 3. A postmark does not count; if you mail your ballot back, it must be in the possession of the county clerk by 7PM on November. 3.
If you have moved recently, or just want to check to make sure your voter registration information is current, you can do so online at govotecolorado.gov.
Colorado is a SAME DAY REGISTRATION state. This means that even if your registration is not up to date or you are eligible to register but have not yet done so, you can register or update your registration and vote on Election Day, Tuesday November 3, 2020. After October 26, you should go to a VSPC to register and vote because there will not be time for a ballot to reach you by mail.
